Communication and Meetings Structure
HMJ Regional Collaborative Employment Committee meets once per month on the 4th Friday via a hybrid meeting model on the ZOOM meeting platform and that the Juniata Valley Behavioral and Developmental Services office. The address is 152 East Market Street, Suite 105 , Lewistown, PA. HMJ Regional Collaborative Housing Committee meets bi-monthly at the Mifflin County Courthouse, 20North Wayne Street, Lewistown, PA.
Goals, next steps or actions plans
The HMJ Regional Collaborative celebrated 5 years. Moving forward both the Housing and the Employment Coalition will develop strategic plans using the EVERYDAY LIVES: Values in Action ISAC Recommendations & Strategies 2022 to address identified concerns of cost of child care, the loss of the social neighborhood, provider part time staffing struggles to support employment, teach ADVOCACY at an early stage of life, changing the mindset of families (how can I help my child _______). HMJ Regional Collaborative will continue to provide an open invitation to agencies and groups; to build on the spiritual outreach and most importantly, individuals with lived experience to engage in future planning.
