Pennsylvania law requires people to obtain a license before they can operate certain types of facilities. These include, but are not limited to:

Operating any of the above types of facilities without a license is against the law.

Having a license does not mean that you can receive payment for providing Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) services. In order to receive payment for providing ODP services, you must enroll as an ODP service provider.

Obtaining a license is not the same as enrolling as an ODP service provider. There are different processes and requirements for licensure and enrollment.
