Supporting Families Best Practices Series – Bridging Aging and Disability

The National Community of Practice (CoP) for Supporting Families invites you to join its Supporting Families Best Practices Series. Pennsylvania’s ODP and Developmental Disabilities Council are partners in the National CoP which is led by the National Association of State Directors of Developmental Disabilities Services (NASDDDS) and University of Missouri Kansas City. February’s session will focus on Bridging Aging and Disability.
The Best Practice Series introduces and elevates innovative services, supports and policies directly related to supporting families. Each session will feature a panel of National, State, and local organizations providing services and supports for families across the lifespan.
In this session, we will hear about the needs of people with disabilities and their caregivers who are aging. A panel of states will share best practices for supporting these populations and how they bring together Aging and Disability system partners.
