The Philadelphia Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual disAbility Services is hosting its Employment First Stakeholder Strategic Planning Event on Thursday, October 19. The event invites stakeholders to join for a meeting to brainstorm new ideas to increase employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities in Philadelphia.

The event will be held at the Liberty View at Independence Visitor Center and will offer participants the opportunity to connect with other Philadelphians with disabilities and the professionals who support them. If you are an employment professional, a self-advocate, or a family member, you are encouraged to attend to offer your input. Lunch and light snacks will be provided and dietary needs can be indicated in the registration form. The event is free but registration is required.
