Project ECHO: Building Competence in Supporting Autistic Adults with Profound Support Needs
Penn State College of Medicine’s Project ECHO (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) invites ODP residential provider staff – who are directly supporting autistic adults with high support needs – to register for its free virtual program. Project ECHO’s fall 2026 session will build competencies around:
- Managing severe and intense behaviors
- Medical and mental health comorbidities
- Catatonia
- Communication
- Preventing burnout for caregivers & community supports
Sessions are held Tuesdays, 7:45 to 9:00 AM on:

Attendees are encouraged to join sessions as their schedules permit, but register early because space is limited.
