PADDC Spring Listening Tour and LEAF Scholarships
The Pennsylvania Developmental Disabilities Council (PADDC) invites individuals with disabilities and their families to join its Spring Listening Tour, and to apply for its LEAF Scholarship Program.
Spring Listening Tour
PADDC wants to know what matters most to Pennsylvanians with developmental disabilities and their families. The Council needs your input on how to make life better for people with disabilities. The information you share will guide its future work.
PADDC wants to hear your ideas on how to:
- Improve supports and services for people with disabilities and their families.
- Make communities better for everyone.
- Improve advocacy and training opportunities.
- Protect the rights of people with disabilities.
Join PADDC for a listening session. Both in person and virtual meeting options are
available throughout the state. To see the schedule and get more information, please visit the PADDC website: https://www.paddc.org/listening-tour-2025-we-want-to-hear-from-you/
Now Accepting LEAF Scholarship Applications
PADDC is now accepting applications for its LEAF Scholarship program. LEAF Scholarships provide support for self-advocates and families to attend events that promote leadership, education, and self-advocacy, thereby enabling people with developmental disabilities and their family members to expand their knowledge and skills.
The LEAF Scholarship program provides scholarships of up to $750 per person, per year, to assist individuals with disabilities and their family members to attend conferences, training sessions, and comparable activities directly related to skill development in the areas of self-advocacy, leadership, and education.
Applications for 2025 scholarships are now open.
