From the LifeCourse Nexus: Fall Skill Building Series Announced & Fall Ambassador Series Cohorts Now Open
The LifeCourse Nexus is offering two training workshops for those who are looking to build capacity with the LifeCourse Framework.
What is the LifeCourse Framework?
The Charting the LifeCourse framework was created to help individuals and families of all abilities and all ages develop a vision for a good life, think about what they need to know and do, identify how to find or develop supports, and discover what it takes to live the lives they want to live. The framework is the keystone for supporting a community of learning that champions transformational change through knowledge exchange, capacity building, and collaborative engagement.
Skill Building Series Fall 2024
This learning opportunity is a series of four workshops designed to provide instruction and practice application using key LifeCourse principles and related tools. It is intended for people who want to increase their knowledge and skills to apply the framework and use the tools in their roles.

Fall Ambassador Series Cohorts Now Open
Take the next step in your LifeCourse journey and become an Ambassador. The Ambassador Series is an opportunity to receive a comprehensive overview of each of the foundational principles of the Charting the LifeCourse (CtLC) Framework and tools. The series combines self-paced learning and coaching support through a virtual learning experience.
You might notice some new terminology on the LifeCourse page. The past “Person Centered Planning” Ambassador Series has now shifted to “Person Centered Thinking.”
Person-Centered Thinking takes person-centered planning a step further. Instead of merely planning for an individual’s needs and goals, it promotes a fundamental mindset and approach that permeates every interaction and decision. It’s about embedding the principles of person-centeredness into the daily practices of those who support individuals. This means consistently considering the person’s perspective, fostering self determination and ensuring their voice is heard and valued in all aspects of life.
