You’re Invited to Move Your Way!

The Office of Developmental Programs is pleased to announce an initiative to promote physical activity to help everyone lead healthier lives. Based on the Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans, developed by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, comes a promotional campaign called Move Your Way.

Adults need at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic activity and two days of muscle-strengthening activity a week to stay healthy. But moving your way means staying active in a way that works for you and your schedule! Walking, gardening, dancing, or doing anything that elevates your heart beat; Every little bit counts! Even 5 minutes of of physical activity has real health benefits.1

The Move Your Way tools, videos, and fact sheets have tips that make it easier to get a little more active. And small changes can add up to big health benefits!
