UPDATE: Invitation to Town Hall on Pennsylvania’s 10-Year Master Plan – New Dates

The Governor, in Executive Order 2023-09, has directed the Department of Aging, the Pennsylvania Long-Term Care Council, and other agencies under his jurisdiction to develop this plan to enhance the health, well-being, and high quality of life for older adults and adults with disabilities and to reflect the express preference of older adults to live where and how they choose with the supports they need to continue to thrive. Pennsylvania has a rapidly growing and diverse older adult population. With the age 60 and older population growing 20 times faster than any other age group in the state, a master plan is needed, now more than ever, to meet their diverse and individual needs. The Previously postponed town halls will now be held on: Wednesday, July 19, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Harrrisburg
