14 Jul 2023 2023 PA Community of Practice Transition Conference August 9 and 10, 2023 Registration is still open for the 2023 Pennsylvania Community of Practice Transition Conference. The conference will offer in-person and virtual training opportunities to accommodate those who cannot travel. The in-person conference will be held at the Penn Stater Conference Center in State College, PA. The deadline to register is July 30, 2023. The primary purpose of this two-day conference is to expand the capacity of youth, family members, schools and community partners regarding specific issues related to: Effective employment and post-secondary educational practices Developing healthy lifestyles The utility of assistive technology Resources, supports and services available to youth and families. The conference will also feature an Accommodations, Supports and Resources Expo – an interactive, hands-on expo designed for participants to learn about specific assistive technology, resources, supports, and services available to youth.
