The Lancaster County Employment Coalition and Lebanon County Works With Us Coalition merged in January in order to strengthen the group’s role as a resource for the Employment Specialists, schools, and businesses.

The purpose of the Lancaster Lebanon Employment Coalition is to provide education and resources surrounding waiver and non-waiver employment services, and how they can effectively combine to create interagency relationships aimed at providing a robust basis for supporting individuals with a disability in their employment journeys. The Coalition also researches best employment service practices nationwide to offer employment service guidance on policy.

The Lancaster Lebanon Coalition meets quarterly to share information and resources, explain policy, engage the business community, and collect and share data. The Coalition holds Employment Awards to celebrate the many and varied contributions of workers with disabilities and employers during National Disability Employment Awareness Month in October.
