The fifth set of amendments to Consolidated and Person/Family Directed Support (P/FDS) Waivers were approved by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) effective July 13, 2016 and July 8, 2016 respectively. The amendments reflected broad stakeholder input as well as changes recommended by CMS.

Preview of the proposed July 2017 Changes to the P/FDS and Consolidated Waivers (Oct 2016)
The Consolidated and Person/Family Directed Support waivers are scheduled to be renewed effective on July 1, 2017. ODP is drafting both waiver applications, with the plan of releasing Appendices A through H for the official public comment period from November through December. Introductory webinars were held and recorded in October 2016 prior to the start of the official public comment period to summarize planned changes and allow time for questions and answers.
