Penn State College of Medicine invites professionals who serve neurodiverse populations to join its Project Reassure training series. The training comes at no cost and participants are eligible for training hours. The eight session Project Reassure ECHO series provides participants with strategies in supporting neurodiverse individuals struggling with anxiety related to the COVID-19 pandemic, and building resilience.

The series launches on January 13, 2023 from 7:45 am to 9:00 am. The curriculum will cover the basics of recognizing trauma, stress, and anxiety, improving resilience, crisis prevention and dealing with uncertainty using the Community Resilience Model.

Professionals serving neurodiverse individuals including clinical supervisors of direct support professionals, group home managers, behavior specialists and program coordinators are encouraged to register on the Penn State website.
